Why It Matters

The Timetable Is Not the Hard Part. Keeping It True Is.

Classes, subjects, teachers and periods are easy to publish once. The difficulty is keeping them accurate after the third substitution of the term.

Academic structure drifts: a teacher changes, a stream splits, a period moves, and the printed timetable stops matching reality. When attendance, exams and parent communication all read from the same academic structure, a change made once is a change everywhere — and the register a teacher marks is the register the report card is built from.

Common before the system
  • The published timetable and the real one have diverged
  • Substitutions are tracked on paper or in a chat group
  • Attendance is kept per teacher rather than per student
  • Subject allocation is rebuilt from scratch each year
Questions Schools Ask

Yes. Grade, class, stream and per-student subject allocation are modelled separately, which is what allows A/L streams and optional subject groups to work without duplicating students.

Per period or per day, by the teacher taking the class, on whatever device is in the room. It posts against the same student record used by fees, exams and the parent portal.
